On January 1, 2026, Missouri’s minimum wage will increase to $15 per hour. The tipped employee base wage will increase to $7.50 per hour.

Retail and service employers with less than $500,000 in gross annual business are exempt from the state minimum wage, but still need to pay at least the federal minimum wage.
